I’m pretty sure you are wrong in this instance. If he says all girls and all guys are fake, how is that not saying gender isn’t real? if you were a more positive person, you could have seen that, but instead you prefer to lash out at others and foster further negativity in the world. i hope you stop making people feel bad in the future, because that is negative.

ALT LIT EPISODE 1 AT NERVE TV
where GIRLS is a sort of subtle exaggeration of modern youth isolation/individualism, this is a less-than-subtle, over-exaggeration of the online writing scene.
I guess sharing personal writing amongst a small group of friends brought together by mutual sensitivities is worth mocking. Whereas GIRLS’ perspective highlights the complexity of emotions that comes with trying to live an individualistic lifestyle in 2kXX, this show seems to poke fun at alt-lit’s ego and self-absorption, both which I can’t deny.
I guess, we’re fucked.
I still want to see how this love triangle between Andrew and the lion-kissing girl and the obviously gay boyfriend plays out.
The most redeeming part of the whole thing was when the blonde dude turned to the mannequin tits and they shared an authentic emotional moment.
I found this to be very equatable with alt lit, as it was almost entirely boring
